If you’ve never experienced this off-the-wall San Francisco tradition, now is a good time to start
On May 17, Bay to Breakers hits the streets of San Francisco. The event is a race, a parade, and a block party all rolled into one. In recent years, the event has undergone a lot of changes, as successive generations of organizers have sought to tame some of the rowdier traditions attached to the race. Nevertheless, the good times keep rolling, and San Franciscans and visitors from around the world keep congregating across town in mid-May to have a great time.
And be sure you’re prepared to find your way to the race. Many transit options are available, including parking reservations. Click here to view the official Bay to Breakers transit page.
