Tour bus parking

November 14th, 2009

According to the San Francisco MTA, parking for overnight tour buses is available at Pier 30, on the east side of the Embarcadero between Brannan and Bryant Streets, for a fee. This is a private lot managed by Imperial Parking, 415-227-0114 extension 21. Please contact lot management in advance to make parking arrangements as the lot is sometimes closed for special events.

Bus operators may also park on most non-residential streets, but should read all posted parking regulations carefully.

Is there parking for RVs or motorhomes in San Francisco?

September 3rd, 2009

Something that comes up a lot at GottaPark is the question of where to park RVs/motorhomes in San Francisco. GottaPark doesn’t have any facilities that can handle this type of vehicles. As far as we know, RVs can be parked at the Monster Park RV Park and at SFO. I also see a lot of RVs parked along the south side of Golden Gate park. If anyone knows of any other locations, please add a comment. Another good resource for finding parking for big vehicles is the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau.
